The 2022 Music Awards are meant to highlight musical talent from small artists & their work from this year
Categories:
Artist of the Year: Presented to an outstanding artist who displayed exceptional work throughout the year via original music, performances, lyrics, visuals, etc.
Project of the Year: Presented to an artist for their work on an original body of music such as an album, EP, or mixtape.
Song of the year: Presented to an artist(s) for the most outstanding original song.
Producer of the Year: Presented to the best producer for their work on original music production over this year.
Songwriter of the Year: Presented to the best songwriter of the year for their work on original music for themselves or others
See Our VSN Award: Think of this as a critics choice award. Anything can be submitted to this category and the winner of it will be decided from the exceptional creativeness or authenticity of the artist, collab, song, project, etc.
Best Collaboration: Presented to multiple artists for their collaborative work as whole on an exceptional work of music.
Best Hip-Hop/Rap Song: Submissions can include any genre of rap. Award will be given to the best rap song from this year. If it is a collab song then all artists will be given an award.
Best R&B/Soul Song: Award will be given to the best R&B/Soul song from this year. If it is a collab song then all artists will be given an award.
Best Latin Song: Submissions can include any genre of Latin music. Song must be performed with at least 51% of words being in a latin speaking language. Award will be given to the best Latin song from this year.
Best Pop Song: Award given to the best pop song from this year.
Best Alternative Song: Award will be given to the best alternative song from this year.
Best Electronic/Dance Song: Any genre of electronic/dance music can be submitted for this song. Award will be given to the best Electronic/Dance song from this year.
Best Music Photo/Photographer: Presented to the Photographer or Artist behind the respective cover art, concert photo, or creative photo submitted.
Best Music Video/Visual: Presented to the Director & Artist of the respective video/visual chosen to be best of the year.
The Official VSN 2022 Music Awards Event will take place on December 16th at the Pilsen Arts & Community House from 7-11pm(Central Time).
Eligibility Period for Submitted Music: November 1st, 2021 to December 2nd, 2022.
